Advanced Mode changes the board over time. Once the board fills, the oldest mark fades away before the next move — so the match keeps evolving instead of stalling out.
In Advanced Mode, play continues until someone creates three in a row. There's no stalemate to hide behind — just keep playing until a winner emerges.
